• Emergency Lighting Testing – Monthly flick tests and annual full-duration tests.
• PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) – Especially for rented premises or areas with frequent equipment changes.
• Distribution Board Inspection – Check for correct labelling, overheating, and signs of wear.
• RCD Testing – Ensure residual current devices trip within safe time limits.
• Thermal Imaging Survey (Optional but Valuable) – Identify potential overheating in electrical panels before faults occur.
• Lightning Protection Testing – For larger buildings, ensure systems are intact and compliant.
• Fire Alarm Electrical Integrity Check – Ensure power supplies and battery backups are functional.
• Ventilation and Extract Fan Power Supplies – Confirm safe and compliant wiring (especially in kitchens).
• Periodic Load Monitoring – Identify circuits nearing capacity to avoid overload.
